This Troy Ambidextrous bolt catch will not work on Sig Sauer M400 models. You would have to grind material off which I'm not doing in order for it to function properly. I rated 2 stars instead of 1 because my order and shipped fast. I do have a AR10 that I will check if it will possibly work on before I return it. Being a left handed shooter I was looking forward to installing this item. There were no fitment notes about the product but I hope that gets updated in the future.

This concept is not only an easy and quick way to drop a bolt, it makes locking the BCA open with the left hand easier, without looking where to place finger/thumb to engage bolt catch open. This is a slightly heavier duty version of the Magpul Bad Lever. Both do the job with me giving a slight edge to the Troy product.

Better than the Magpul B.A.D. lever...better ergonomics and slightly less wiggle. Works well as a catch and release (sounds like a fishing moment I know)...In this case works especially well for an AR with a left side Non-reciprocating bolt charging handle, by allowing the right side trigger finger to easily operate the bolt catch while working the bolt with the left hand. No complaints. The Troy is sturdy and should last quite awhile.

Being a lefty has always had its drawbacks in shooting so this Troy ambi bolt release along with the other Troy add-ons I got from AT3 Tactical made it easy to shave time off my U.W. score.

I like this product much better than the BAD lever. I get a more positive and confident grip with my index finger to lock the bolt back.
