9310 Steel Bolt – Better than Carpenter 158?
You’ll see a lot of claims online that C158 steel is the only steel for an AR-15 bolt, because that’s what the military uses. Frankly, it’s not true, and that’s why Aero Precision went with 9310 steel for the most important part of the BCG. The bolt is heat treated to provide superior strength and durability, as well as shot peened and MPI tested to ensure the quality.

Failed Background Check
