Retro AR-15 Carbine Buttstock
When the battlefield demanded that the M16 be shorter, the CAR-15 was the answer. Along with shorter barrels and handguards, the recoil system was compressed into the carbine buffer system, we know today. The stock from this era is iconic. This polymer CAR-15 style buttstock replicates the style of the Colt Commando style rifles of the 60s and 70s. It’s inexpensive, lightweight, and it works.
The stock is made of durable polymer, which provides reliable performance and is resistant to damage from impacts, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. It features a quick-detach mount that allows for rapid installation and removal, making it easy to switch between different rifles or builds.
This stock slips in easily on any mil-spec buffer tube and has two loop points for attaching a sling. Fully extended, the stock has a 13-inch length of pull.
