The Cloud Defensive COR V2 Handguard is an innovative upgrade that enhances both function and ergonomics on your rifle build. It is was designed specifically for use with the LCS and is changing the way lights and handguards interact with each other.
The COR free-float handguard features a recessed rail section that is nearly the same dimensions as the OWL control switch to keep it low profile and out of your field of view while also improving ergonomics. It also has thicker construction that is much more durable and dissipates heat much faster.
Wide Compatibility – 1.33″ Internal Diameter
Additionally, the COR is compatible with other popular lights and switches like the Surefire SR-07 or DS-07. The 1.33” internal diameter is compatible with low profile gas blocks and is extremely slim for a comfortable grip and easy access to the light switch.
The COR handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and hard-coat anodized black to Mil-Spec standards. At 9.55”, it is great for 10.5” barrels with either a carbine or pistol length gas system and features M-LOK slots on 5 sides so you can easily attach grips or other accessories and two QD sling slots for your favorite sling.

- Handguard thickness: .100 which is thicker than any other we’ve found. That means it dissipates heat well and it means it’s significantly stronger than the competition.
- M-LOK compatible for nearly universal accessory mounting.
- Handguard Length: 9.55” – Optimized for 10.3” and 10.5” barrels. Works just fine with longer barrels.
- Two QD sling mounts integrated into the rail, on both sides for versatility.
- Utilizes the Bravo Company USA patented barrel nut assembly, providing a rock-solid lock-up to the receiver with anti-rotation tabs.
- Made in the USA
Compatibility:
- COR V2 handguard is compatible with Light Control System (LCS) for Surefire, the Light Control System (LCS) Streamlight, Surefire SR-07, Surefire DS-07. The B.E. Meyers MAWL and the Steiner DBAL can also be mounted in the recess, should you want to lower those systems as well.
- Compatible with low-profile gas blocks.
- Compatible with both carbine-length gas systems (Direct Impingement) and pistol-length gas systems (Direct Impingement).
- Not compatible with piston-driven operating systems of any kind.
- Includes a full BCM Barrel Nut assembly.

Cloud Defensive Warranty
- Follow our installation instructions properly and our product is warrantied forever, to whoever owns it.
- If damaged during use to the point of inoperability (which would amaze us), send it back and we’ll send you a new one no questions asked.
- To be fair to us, this does not include normal wear and tear to the finish, or a handful of excluded warranty items (see product details for more info).
- Common-sense goes a long way here. If you want to return it unused, expect a full and immediate refund. Period.
- We reserve the right to evaluate returns/refunds based on a given circumstance to be fair to use as well.
- Our level of customer service will be second to nobody, however.
Refund Policy
- We stand behind our products, unequivocally. However, we also realize that not every product is right for every person.
- If you buy something and decide you want to return it, we are happy to take back your new, unused item and give you a full refund.
