GRAND POWER, based in Banská Bystrica – Slovenská Ľupča, stands as a testament to the vision and determination of its founder and owner, Mr. Jaroslav Kuracina. With a passion for weaponry inherited from his grandfather, a WWII partisan and avid hunter, Jaroslav embarked on a journey that would redefine the landscape of firearm manufacturing.

From his early days as a teenager sketching his first designs to the establishment of GRAND POWER, Jaroslav faced skepticism and challenges. Undeterred, he persisted, eventually crafting the first functional prototype, the Q200, in 1997 under the umbrella of Kinex Grand. Despite setbacks like the bankruptcy of Považské strojárne and Kinex Grand, Jaroslav’s determination remained unwavering.

Turning to private investors for support, Jaroslav saw his company grow steadily. By 2012, the K1 evolved into the renowned K100, symbolizing both his name and the weight of his dedication. As the company expanded, so did its reputation, with the K100 Pistol earning acclaim among shooting enthusiasts and professionals alike.
