The A-Zoom Pistol Snap Caps are excellent and reliable tools mainly used for safety training, weapon testing, and safely decocking a pistol without damaging the firing pin. Dry firing a weapon frequently without any ammo may cause the firing pin to weaken and break which may cause unnecessary accidents.

A-Zoom Snaps Caps help in prolonging the firing pin’s life by serving as a dummy round to the weapon that can be used in tactical training and weapon testing without actually using any live rounds.

The A-Zoom Pistol Snap Caps are precision CNC machined from solid aluminum to precise cartridge dimensions, then hard anodized for ultra-smooth functioning and long life. Each round has A-Zoom’s remarkably durable Dead Cap proven to withstand over three thousand dry fires while also protecting the firing pin.

A-Zoom Snap Caps also last over 30 times longer than conventional plastic examples and are available in over 120 sizes from .22 Hornet to the .50BMG.
