You Asked, We Listened! Red Tails with Locking Windage and Elevation Caps
New for 2022, the Red Tails come standard with locking caps for windage and elevation. Keep all the precision of the 1/2 MOA adjustments for the BDC reticle, with the added security of a push-pull lock mechanism. And the clicks are audible and tactile for quick changes in the field.
What is an LPVO and why do you need one?
LPVO stands for Low Powered Variable Optic. LPVO’s are different from traditional rifle scopes (and perfect for AR15’s) because you can use the scope as a red dot replacement at 1x magnification, and still have high magnification to engage targets at distance. This will give you most of the benefits of a traditional red dot sight (wide field-of-view, both eyes open shooting, better situational awareness, etc.) but also the ability to turn up the magnification and make long-distance shots more accurately.

Fast and Accurate
The AT3 Red Tail Rifle Scope’s features true 1x magnification and can be zoomed in to either 4x or 6x at the top end depending on the model. Use 1x with an illuminated reticle to take the place of your red dot if you need to engage targets up to 100 yards. Crank up the magnification as your shots get longer.
Make more Accurate Shots
The AT3 Red Tail rifle scopes have a custom-designed and illuminated Bullet Drop Compensation (BDC) reticle. The reticle has holdovers for shots out to 600 yards using popular .223/5.56 cartridges. With this reticle, you won’t have to guess where to aim anymore – just use the holdovers and make more accurate shots.
Adjust On-the-Fly
Tactical windage and elevation turrets make adjusting for environmental factors simple and fast for your next shot. The Red Tail features ½ MOA clicks, and push-pull locking for secure adjustments that won’t spin out in the field.

Right out of the box it feels sturdy and well made. It was easy to mount, and the rail contact feels solid. The glass is clear and the magnification at 6x is great. Love the variable illumination of the BDC reticle.
Assuming that it holds zero after a few hundred rounds, I’ll come back and bump this up from 4-star to 5.

Backed by the AT3 Lifetime Warranty!
All AT3 Tactical Brand Products carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects.
This includes AT3 Red Dot Sights, Handguards, Iron Sights, and any other product that carries the “AT3 Tactical” or “AT3™” name. For other brands (ex. Magpul or Troy), please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty policy.
In the event that your AT3™ product becomes unusable, we will repair or replace the product at no charge to you.
If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The warranty is fully transferable, but we may require information about the original purchase to validate the authenticity of the product.
