The Mossberg 590 Chainsaw is a ferociously capable 12 gauge pump-action shotgun designed for home defense and law enforcement applications. This compact configuration centers on an 18.5″ stand-off cylinder bore barrel for tight patterns at close ranges.
A durable synthetic pistol grip provides a vertical grip for fast handling, while Mossberg’s horizontal hold/chainsaw forend features three built-in Picatinny rails to mount lights, lasers, or other accessories. The top blued metal receiver is drilled and tapped for easy optic mounting.
As with all 590s, the pump action utilizes non-binding twin action bars, dual extractors, and a top tang safety for absolute ambidextrous operation under stress. The aluminum receiver provides sleek lines while the 3″ chamber allows the hardest-hitting 12 gauge ammunition.
