Aero Enhanced M5 Handguard with Wide Inside Diameter

The Aero Enhanced M5 M-LOK Handguard attaches directly to the M5 Enhanced Upper. For shooters running laser aiming modules, this handguard is also great at reducing deflection and zero shift when paired with an Enhanced M5 Upper. Because the mounting surface for handguard and barrel is separated, less stress is placed on the barrel nut, for improved accuracy and less zero shift.

This handguard also features a 1.72″ internal diameter, allowing you to bury a suppressor below the length if you so choose. The Enhanced M5 handguard has modularity with M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, plus a full length picatinny top rail and QD sling sockets as well.

Can I use this with a standard AR-10 type receiver?

Yes you can, by purchasing an Aero Precision barrel nut for M5 platform rifles. We highly recommend purchasing an M5 enhanced upper instead, because of the many benefits it provides. Installation will be simpler, and you will not experience as much deflection using the enhanced upper.
