Fitment?!?!?!

The dust cover appears to be well made, but the tolerances seem a bit off. The cover does not snap closed securely. The slightest bump triggers the door, and it comes flying open .. I can not blame the upper receiver either, a mil-spec door works flawlessly, and it is a BCM, so it is well made, and not a bottom shelf component.

Doesn’t stay closed.

Looks great and matches my build, but the latch does not catch. Every time I close it, it just pops open immediately.

Its like alright

doesn't come with any instructions but if you have a clue its fine to put on. Ended up taking the entire front handguard off and using a hammer and flat punch to get it in all the way. After installation it will open if i bang on the top of the gun or bump it too hard, but i really don't close the ejection port anyways. The cover isn't flush with the rest of my upper receiver when its closed either. But it feels pretty solid and looks cool so I'm giving it 4 stars,

Fit and finish

These dust covers fit perfectly on my rifle. They were the exact FDE as my magus furniture and really make the rifle pop. A3Tactical has fast shipping and is great to deal with.

Wish it functions as good as it looks.

I installed the Timber Creek Dust Cover (FDE color) on my Aero Precision 300 Blackout. The install was pretty straight forward. The FDE dust cover color was a very close match to my upper receiver so that was a plus. After installation, the dust cover rarely stays closed. It appears there is not enough pressure on the ball bearing to hold the dust cover in the closed position. Not sure if this is a common problem with the dust cover or if I just got a lemon.
