Tyrant Magazine Baseplate for Glock 43, 43x and 48 Mags

Having reliable magazines for your carry pistol is crucial, and the Tyrant magazine baseplate enhances function, without diminishing reliability. These aluminum plates have higher mass than the standard plastic plates that ship with Glock magazines. This means that when you go to drop your mag, there’s less chance of snagging or failing to drop free, keeping your reload time fast under pressure.

As an added bonus, these enhanced aluminum baseplates also work with Shield Arms S15 magazines for Glock 43x/48 pistols. If you’re looking at increased capacity, these products are a great fit.

How to Install

Installing these baseplates is as simple as disassembling your Glock magazine. Ensure the magazine is unloaded, then take a punch, pen, or similar tool to depress the baseplate retainer at the bottom of your magazine. It’s the little circular portion. After removing the stock baseplate, install the Tyrant baseplate, with the chevron tips facing forward, until the retainer snaps back into place.
