In 2009, OSS introduced the first Flow-Through® suppressor. Engineered to deliver superior sound suppression without adversely affecting the weapon system, Flow-Through® technology would go on to completely disrupt the suppressor industry. Adopted by military units and law enforcement agencies, OSS Flow-Through® suppressors became the gold standard in suppression systems for professionals around the world.

The benefits of Flow-Through® technology are countless. From eliminating the need for additional weapon modifications to mitigating impact shift – Flow-Through® suppressors have set the bar for versatility, durability, and reliability.

Signature reduction and user safety have always been at the forefront of OSS’s mission. In 2020, OSS began testing their patented Flow-Through® suppressors against traditional baffle suppressors for toxic blowback. Toxic blowback primarily consists of carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide, and ammonia. On average, the amount of toxic gas that was being emitted back at the shooter’s face from a traditional baffle suppressor was 265% higher than with a Flow-Through® suppressor.

It was at that moment everything changed…

In 2021, OSS made the decision to change their identity and commit their focus and their development to building dedicated safety systems to protect their end users.
