Durable MPI-Tested Steel Construction
The Aero Precision .308/7.62 Bolt Carrier Group is constructed from a combination of 8620 Tool Steel (Carrier) and case-hardened 9310 Steel (Bolt) for extreme durability. It is then coated with high-quality Nickel Boron (NiB) which is much easier to clean than black nitride coatings as well as increases the overall lubricity of .308 builds.
The BCG is Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) to ensure there are no hidden cracks or stress points and all bolt components are shot-peened to reduce friction during use and ensure long-lasting reliable performance.
