Aero Precision Ultralight Extended AR-15 Scope Mount
The Aero Precision Ultralight Extended AR-15 scope mount offers an extra inch of relief for modern rifle setups. This single piece cantilever scope mount makes a great match for traditional scopes or low powered variable optics (LPVOs), with extra relief for shorter length of pull. The vertically split rings make it easy to ensure proper torque and alignment with your scope.
Which Scope Mount Do I Need?
Aero Precision has a variety of scope mounts available. First and foremost, make sure you’re getting the correct size for your scope tube. Check your scope manufacturer’s specifications to make sure you’re getting the right size. Beyond that, Aero Precision’s Standard, Extended, and SPR scope mounts can help to set your eye relief, by pushing the optic further forward on the rifle.
Depending on the eye relief of your scope and your stock’s length of pull, you may prefer shorter or longer relief from the mount. For example, for a rifle with a long length of pull, and a high power scope, you may want little to no relief from the mount. If you’re running a shorter gun with an LPVO, especially with backup sights, longer relief may be ideal for you.
