Anderson Slick Side AR-15 Upper – No Forward Assist
The Anderson Upper with No Forward Assist comes ready to customize for a lightweight AR build. Like most milspec uppers, Anderson makes these with forged 7075-T6 aluminum for strength, and a type 3 hardcoat anodized finish. This upper accepts all handguards, charging handles, and BCGs meant for milspec uppers, and attaches easily to any AR-15 lower receiver.
While it has no provision for a forward assist, this slick side upper does come with the lugs to install the ejection port/dust cover of your choosing.
How do I assemble this stripped upper?
This AT3 forged upper comes stripped – which means it’s just the receiver. You can easily complete assembly using the AT3 Dust Cover, which includes a dust cover, rod, spring, and c-clip for a mil-spec style installation. You don’t need any special tools to do this, but a small hammer and a pair of needle nose pliers may make it easier for you.
If you want to go custom, you can also try different upper parts for a truly unique look. There’s great options for dust covers from Timber Creek, in a full complement of Cerakote and anodized shades. If you like fast, hassle-free install, go with UTG or Magpul enhanced dust covers for a tool-free install.
