6.5 Grendel

The 6.5 Grendel is a low-recoil, long-range cartridge explicitly designed for the AR-15 platform. Noted for impressive ballistics, it uses .264 caliber bullets to make accurate shots out to 1,000 yards.  The 6.5 Grendel uses a unique bolt and caliber-specific magazine to convert any standard AR15.

SPR Barrel Profile

A mid-length gas system, 16″ barrel length, and the Special Purpose Rifle (SPR profile) make recoil smooth and ideal for tactical applications. The Special Purpose Rifle was developed to give operators a weapon to fill multiple roles such as a close-quarters weapon and long-range precision weapon.

Ballistic Advantage’s SPR Profile is made with a profile that steps down in diameter with the muzzle being the thinnest part of the barrel. This unique design saves weight where possible while making areas such as the chamber and gas block area reinforced for accuracy and heat mitigation.

Additionally, this barrel is precision machined from 416R Stainless Steel with a Bead Blasted Finish. Stainless steel is easy to clean and maintain and resistant to the elements.
