Ultra-Slick, Ultra-Affordable Ambidextrous AR15 Charging Handle

If you’re looking for a charging handle upgrade that’s above and beyond the mil-spec, with features that rival the big brands, at a price that really can’t be beaten?  Look no further than the Warhammer from Breek Arms.  Not only does it make your AR15 truly ambidextrous, but the Warhammer also has thin, deep-set handles to ensure it doesn’t interfere with optics or backup sights, making for an even slicker experience than other handles out there.

Improvement but has some concerns

Bought two of these and overall am happy. Access is much much better than MIL spec. Much improved hand access around scope and an open the action with either side/hand. Wide but not too wide. They really got that part right.
1. After locking back the bolt, when I return the charge handle to its closed position I have to actuate the release handle to get it to snap over the locking ramp. One is better thank the other so it could be a flaw in the upper but did not have the issue with the original MIL spec CH.
2. Colors do not match the Magpul colors. I bought one in DFE and another in OD Green. The FDE appears more bronze. The OD Green is much brighter/less gray than the Magpul parts.
Would I rather have black than these? Maybe not but be aware the colors do t match anything else in the rigs.

I would buy again for the functional enhancement, which is why we do this stuff in the first place.

Good shooting!!

Love it

Saw a few reviews complaining about this charging handle hurting the skin on their fingers. That’s when I knew it was for me. I wanted a charging handle that worked and wasn’t designed to take care of sensitive skin. To be honest I was a bit disappointed when I received it and it caused no discomfort. It cycles great and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.

AR15 Charging handle

Hi, I'm Bruce, and I purchased the Warhammer Charging Handle, first, for my AR15. After taking the rifle to the range, I noticed that the Warhammer was very smooth and easy to pull from underneath the optic scope. So, when I decided to add a RUGER SFAR to my collection and looking it over, I knew that one of the best upgrades I had to get was a Breek Arms Warhammer Mod 2 Charging Handle for it, in Ranger Green this time, to go with a different color scheme, and I think it's the best fit for my ARs. Absolutely love it.

Thanks for the review! We're glad you're enjoying our Warhammer Charging Handle.

Great price

I've got these on every gun I own. Being that anything comparable is $100 plus, these are a great alternative. Nothing better out there for the price. Love their flash hiders as well.

Thanks for the review! We're glad to hear that our products are affordable and offer great value.

Warhammer vs. Raptor

I run a DD4 RIII SBR (11.5), I initially upgraded the stock GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle with a Radian Raptor ambidextrous charging handle but real estate is tight in that area, the combination of brass deflector, magpul backup sights, and LPVO make for a tight area to squeeze in an ambidextrous charging handle.

Don't get me wrong, the Radian Raptor performed well, no issues observed. But... I wanted a slightly longer wingspan, nothing to oversized, but more than the Raptor was giving me.

Enter the Warhammer, it fit that need perfectly. It is well built, looks great, and allows me to truly grip and rip. The oversized ambidextrous release levers and high rear shelf and relief cuts designed to divert suppressor gasses works great. Both body and handles are made of 7075-T6 aluminum, it weighs under 1 ounce and is Type III hard-coat anodized and color matched to my AR finish.

I love it, and the price is perfect. I am thinking of getting an FDE for my 16' AR. Highly recommend you try it out!
