Product description
Fast-Twist 11.5″ Barrel Built Around the .338 ARC AR-15
Features
- 11.5″ barrel length keeps .338 ARC AR-15 builds compact
- Fast 1:5 twist is suited to stabilizing the heavy projectiles commonly used in .338 ARC loads
- Pistol-length gas system is configured around the short barrel length
- Faxon Gunner profile blends a heavier rear section with a slimmer forward contour to keep weight closer to the receiver
- 416-R stainless steel barrel construction
- 5R button rifling provides Faxon’s Match Series bore geometry
- Salt-bath nitride finish provides wear and corrosion resistance inside and outside the barrel
- NP3-coated barrel extension provides a low-friction, corrosion-resistant mating surface
- 5/8×24 muzzle threads accept compatible .338-caliber muzzle devices and suppressor mounts
The Faxon Match Series 11.5″ .338 ARC barrel brings the cartridge’s heavy-bullet capability into a compact AR-15 configuration. Its 1:5 twist and pistol-length gas system are paired with 5R button rifling, a Gunner profile, and an NP3-coated barrel extension for builds intended to run the cartridge’s subsonic or supersonic loads. The 5/8×24 muzzle threads also provide a common interface for appropriately bored .338-caliber muzzle devices and suppressor mounts.
Note: Use a .338 ARC-compatible bolt, magazine, and pistol-length gas system. A standard 5.56 bolt is not compatible.
