The Geissele 16″ 5.56 NATO CHF barrel combines a heavy profile with chrome lining for AR-15 builds where barrel rigidity and long-term durability take priority over minimum weight. Its Geissele-length gas system places the gas block farther forward than a conventional mid-length setup, while the .075″ gas port is matched to that extended configuration. A 1:7 twist, .750″ gas block journal, and 1/2×28 muzzle threads keep the remaining component interfaces familiar.
Note: This barrel uses Geissele’s proprietary Geissele-length gas system rather than a standard mid-length gas system. Use the correct Geissele-length gas tube when assembling the upper.
