This velcro allows the rig to be outfitted with the latest D3CR accessories, as well as to connect with plate carriers. Like its predecessor, the Disruptive Environments Chest Rig X has been designed and optimized for use in confined settings such as urban, vehicle, and rural environments. The rig is also low profile enough to be worn fully loaded without printing on a normal/loose-fit jacket or sweatshirt, making it ideal for covert operations.

Finally, the Disruptive Environments Chest Rig X can be used as a standalone rig or attached to an armor platform with a quick-release system like SwiftClips. This feature allows the end-user to transition seamlessly from low vis to high-vis, depending on the tactical situation.
