The Hera .308 Linear Compressor Gen 2 – 5/8X24 does a much better job of preventing rifle flash which causes discomfort to the shooter during operation. It has a longer design that adds length to the weapon that’s supposed to be short but does allow you to use a long rail system on a short-barreled rifle.
The Hera Linear Compressor Gen-2 measures 3.55 inches long with a diameter of 1.23 inches that allows lots of extra rail clearance during target shooting. LC Generation-2 has 30% less weight and the reduced outside diameter perfectly fits under Hera IRS handguard systems.

The Hera Linear Compressor is designed for use on short-barreled rifles. It offers 12 separate expansion chambers that throw blast straight forward to increase shooting comfort and create an excellent job of reducing noise on your rifle.
The extra length and diameter are likely the most effective at moving the sound forward of the shooter and allows the flash from the weapon to disperse and prevents creating blind spots for the shooter.
