Holosun SCRS Red Dot Sight – Unlimited Battery Life
The Holosun SCRS packs some of the most innovative features in optics into a compact package for a primary optic. This red dot uses Holosun’s new SCS (Solar Charging Sight) technology, meaning this sight has an on-board battery that doesn’t require changing. This optic charges solely with the solar cell on the very top – basically, as long as you have sunlight, your battery life is unlimited!
Plus, you’re still getting all the innovations Holosun is known for. A multi-reticle system with options for circle and fine dot reticles, Shake Awake to extend battery life, plus a convenient automatic brightness mode. You’re getting a ton of functionality in a very small package with the SCRS, and you’ve got your choice of Red or Green reticle models.
Red Dot or Green Dot?
Holosun makes this sight with a red emitter, or a slightly more expensive green emitter. As for which one is right for you, it depends. Both models have the same features and incredible battery life, though some shooters prefer the green dot because it catches their eye faster than the red reticle.
One thing to consider is your shooting environment. If you have a lot of green in your background, the red version will provide you with better contrast. In arid environments with reddish soil, the green reticle will stand out more. It depends on your eye and your situation; but in our experience, it’s down to personal preference: you can’t go wrong.

Warranty & returns
Limited Lifetime Warranty
This express warranty is provided to the private, non-commercial, original owner of the firearm for his or her lifetime. The warranty covers Zenith’s line of firearms, manufactured in the USA, and provides a remedy for manufacturer defects. Repair or replacement of the product is at the discretion of Zenith Firearms.
Zenith does not extend this warranty to cover any defects or problems that neither Zenith nor its vendors caused. Therefore, if one or a combination of the following, in Zenith’s view, contributed to the problem with your firearm, Zenith will not repair the problem under the provisions of this warranty:
- Normal wear and tear relating to the age or usage of your firearm,
- Improper break-in, use, maintenance, or storage of your firearm,
- Failure to comply with instructions in the user manual (it is your duty to obtain your manual),
- Alteration of internal or mechanical parts,
- Accidents,
- Improper installation of parts or accessories, or
- Use of incompatible or suboptimal ammunition, parts, or accessories.
Zenith decides if a problem with your firearm constitutes a manufacturer defect or if it falls into one of the above limitations to this warranty. Zenith also has sole discretion to define the words above.
