What is Cerakote?
Cerakote is ceramic paint and adheres to polymer very well. This durable finish stands up to scuffs and dings, but over time, you will see wear on areas like the magazine catch, feed lips, and rear rib. Comes with the territory of using your gear. AT3 doesn’t warranty against Cerakote inconsistencies, or the wearing of coatings. Likewise, Magpul does not warranty magazines that have been altered with coating.
About the MAG571 PMAG
The Magpul PMAG 30 Round M2 MOE Mag is a cost-competitive upgrade from the aluminum USGI magazine for AR15/M4 compatible weapons chambered in 5.56×45 NATO/.223 Remington. It has a true 30-round capacity and is designed more lightweight but very durable to withstand any tactical operation.
Increased Magazine Reliability
It features impact-resistant polymer construction and an easy-to-disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction. The magazine includes a resilient stainless steel spring coated with black-oxide (MIL-DTL-13924D) for corrosion resistance and an anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower for increased magazine reliability.
