The M-LOK Type 2 Rail Covers are low-profile, two-piece covers that install directly onto most M-LOK aluminum hand guards (non-polymer). These M-LOK covers are non-orientation specific, which allows the user to mount them in any direction desired without affecting function.

The M-LOK Type 2 Rail Covers is designed with TSP texture for additional grip and provides an ergonomic and highly modular solution to improve weapon control as well as ample protection of your rails.
Beveled Contours To Minimize Potential Snagging
The M-LOK Type 2 Rail Covers features beveled contours to minimize potential snagging with a protrusion only slightly more than 1/8″ from the mounting surface to maintain its low-profile. The center locking tab is pre-scored and using a simple, pointed tool, the user can snap off sections to mix and match colors for a customized look.

NOTE:
- Includes six panels, each covering one M-LOK slot.
- Not compatible with MAGPUL MOE M-LOK, MOE SL, and SGA forends, and may not be compatible with free-float handguards that have a wider and flatter profile, as they will not seat deep enough to allow the center portion to lock-in.

If you ever experience an issue with a Magpul product at any time, regardless of where it was purchased, please contact us directly and we’ll do everything reasonable to help you.
To make a return, please take the following steps:
- BEFORE returning any products, please contact us first to receive an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) and prominently write it on the outside of the package. Packages will not be accepted without an RMA.
- Include a note with your name, shipping address, phone number and email, RMA number, and reason for the return (including, if applicable, information about the firearm, ammunition, and usage environment for defective returns). Do not send ammunition.
- Wrap the item with quality padding and place it in the original packaging or in an appropriate box for shipping.
- A UPS shipping label will be provided in your shipment. If using the original packaging, remove or cover the original shipping label. Tape the preprinted return shipping label to the outside of the box. Drop package at an official or authorized UPS drop-off location.
- All refunds will be applied to the credit card used for the original purchase. You should allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.

Works exactly as intended, looks great, feels great, Magpul color matches all their FDE stuff. Be careful driving the top plate into the base if you don't want to separate it in into two pieces, the seam is kind of weak and will break in half. It doesn't affect the functionality and top and bottom lock in place, just advising. Thus, the 4 stars. If you can live with that, it's a 5-star product.
I purchased my rail covers in combination with the Magpul M-LOK Hand Stop Kit and couldn't be happier with the combo.
First off, the dollar/quality value is incredible. It is Magpul, so there is a baseline expectation of production quality and these rail covers deliver. These aren't cheap plastic snap-ons (though they do snap on...and they are cheap). OK, these are technically cheap plastic snap-ons but they are SOLID. Durable material, snug fit, no slop/slide and they aren't coming off unless you actively remove them.
Second, the cost/benefit of adding these rail covers is through the roof. They add no bulk, they weigh practically nothing, they're stupid easy to install, and they that little extra bit of grip to any unused rail space. Feels better than bare hand guard with bare hands and the grip is rock solid with gloves.
Now, I'm not saying these are the greatest things since sliced bread, but you can't go wrong adding these around a foregrip, as a grip, or just to occupy empty rail space. For me, as a minimalist when it comes to attachments, I think they are great.
Pictured: I have the rail cover kit and the hand stop kit (which comes with one rail cover) installed. Four covers on my palm side (facing...9 o'clock) and two opposite (hidden...3 o'clock). The extra that came with the hand stop is mounted underneath and behind the hand stop (6 o'clock) which helps for a shorter hold.
