The AFAB (Advanced Flash Arresting Brake) is a versatile muzzle device that combines the benefits of a flash hider and a compensator. It offers excellent recoil control and flash suppression at a more accessible price point than its EFAB counterpart.
This innovative device utilizes patented technology featuring a complex matrix of passageways to diffuse and cool combustion gases, resulting in improved target acquisition and reduced muzzle flash.

I want to purchase the AFAB precision armament muzzle device for my ar what else would I require for installation
Eddie · Jan 9, 2026AT3 Support Team — You'll need the Precision Armament Accu-Washer Muzzle Alignment System (sold separately) for proper timing—do NOT use crush washers as they can misalign the tight internal baffles. Confirm your AR barrel has 1/2x28 threads, then clean/degrease threads, select the right washer shim, hand-tighten, and torque to 15-20 ft-lbs with an armorer's wrench. Add Rocksett threadlocker for security—installs in minutes for flash-hiding, recoil-reducing performance!
