The Rosco K9 11.5″ barrel was developed with Kinetic Consulting around a proprietary patrol-length gas system that sits between traditional carbine and mid-length configurations. The result is a smoother recoil impulse than standard carbine setups while maintaining reliable cycling in short-barreled 5.56 platforms.
Its continuous taper profile shifts weight rearward to improve handling and reduce front-end heaviness once lights, suppressors, or other accessories are added. Combined with an optimized suppressor-ready gas port and updated target crown, the K9 is built for hard-use AR-15 setups where balance and reliability matter.
