Drop-In 9mm Magazine Adapter for Mil-Spec Lowers
Converting your AR-15 to 9mm doesn’t get much easier than a drop-in solution that requires no additional parts specific to the caliber. Tacfire’s 9mm Colt Magazine adapter provides you with a drop-in solution for your 9mm blowback conversion.
Unlike other magwell adapters, and even some proprietary lowers, this simple block allows you to retain all of the familiar controls for your AR-15, including the last round bolt hold open, or LRBHO. This adapter doesn’t drop out when you use the standard magazine release, even if you’re running an ambidextrous mag release.
Simple Installation
The great thing about this 9mm magazine adapter is that it only takes a few short steps, and uses only one included tool to convert a mil-spec lower. As always, make sure your AR-15 is clear before doing any modifications.
- Remove the screw and washer that is pre-installed next to the ejector. The ejector is the steel hook at the rear of the adapter.
- With your bare lower in hand, feed the magazine adapter into the magwell as you would a typical magazine.
- After locking the adapter into the lower (the magazine catch will click), re-install the washer and screw. This will stop the adapter from falling out the same way it was installed.
- Flip your lower receiver over, then install the two provided set screws into the two threaded holes at the front of the adapter.
- Reassemble your rifle, check function, and ensure retention with Colt pattern magazines.
It’s that simple! Be sure to pick up a heavy buffer to tune your blowback setup to ensure safe function and reliable feeding.

Any types of modifications will void the product(s) warranty. The product must be returned within your 90 days of ownership and you must provide a copy of your receipt to show the Proof of Purchase from an authorized dealer. After the 90 days of ownership you will be required to send us a $10 handling fee made payable to TacFire Inc® by check or money order with a valid proof of purchase. Please email for an RMA number before returning product(s) at support@tacfireinc.com.
90 Day Guarantee: If you purchased your product within 90 days, Tacfire will waive the $10.00 handling fee. All you have to include is a note/ letter with a copy of your proof of purchase.

Return Procedure:
1. Email the Tacfire Returns Shipping Center through returns@tacfireinc.com so that we can send you our warranty form to print out and we will provide you a Return Merchandise Authorization #. It is important that you contact Tacfire for an RMA to avoid any delays in processing time.
2.) Print out warranty form & fill in all the necessary fields making sure to write in the correct return address and don’t forget to include your RMA# along with a brief description of the issue you are experiencing with the product.

3. Along with the warranty form please enclose a copy of your receipt and a $10.00 check or money order payable to TacFire Inc. if it has been over 90 days of ownership, for the shipping and handling.
4. Pack everything in the original box and ship to the Tacfire Returns Shipping Center, making sure to write your RMA# also on the outside of your package.
