There’s plenty of reasons that the Vickers Sling remains one of the most-recommended slings for the AR-15. This 2-point sling can be adjusted for just about any use case, made to fit the shooter’s body and other gear, making carry and retention comfortable. This patented design makes use of premium materials as well, with Cordura webbing and Dupont glass-reinforced nylon hardware.
Highly Adjustable Carry Sling
One of the best features of the Vickers Sling is the contrasting quick-adjust tab. This feature enables the shooter to quickly loosen the sling for comfort and freedom of movement, or tighten it closer to their body. The ability to close the sling down can aid in weapon retention, as well as providing stability for off-hand marksmanship.
The Vickers sling doesn’t include sling swivels or other attachment hardware. Both ends of the Vickers Sling feature adjustable tri-glides, so you can use your rifle’s built-in sling loops, or add more modern accessories like QD sling swivels.
