Divert Pressurized Gasses From The Receiver

There’s also a relief cut near the rear to divert pressurized gasses from the receiver away from your face, with a raised shelf at the back for more protection, making it ideal for suppressed fire. Warhammer vs. Raptor

I run a DD4 RIII SBR (11.5), I initially upgraded the stock GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle with a Radian Raptor ambidextrous charging handle but real estate is tight in that area, the combination of brass deflector, magpul backup sights, and LPVO make for a tight area to squeeze in an ambidextrous charging handle.

Don't get me wrong, the Radian Raptor performed well, no issues observed. But... I wanted a slightly longer wingspan, nothing to oversized, but more than the Raptor was giving me.

Enter the Warhammer, it fit that need perfectly. It is well built, looks great, and allows me to truly grip and rip. The oversized ambidextrous release levers and high rear shelf and relief cuts designed to divert suppressor gasses works great. Both body and handles are made of 7075-T6 aluminum, it weighs under 1 ounce and is Type III hard-coat anodized and color matched to my AR finish.

I love it, and the price is perfect. I am thinking of getting an FDE for my 16' AR. Highly recommend you try it out!

Improve efficiency and success

A small, standard charging handle may stay out of the way, but it may also cause you to lose your grip when your very life depends on it The war hammer is significantly wider, with good texture, and smooth as silk when you charge the rifle. Plus, it looks wicked cool.

Perfect for Those with Finger/Hand/Arm Strength Issues

This is absolutely the best charging handle available. The quality, fit, finish, functionality, and durability are without peer. The best part though is how it enables those with finger/hand/arm strength issues. The milspec version, as well as the Devil Dog Hard Charger, are extremely problematic in this regard.

Fit and function very nice!

Easier to grip than my other ambi handles, and looks sharp. Would like to eventually replace all of them with Breeks.

Not FDE Color and Sandpaper charge

The charging handle I received looked awesome out of the box but the color was off compared to all my other FDE components. I installed the charging handle and charged it a couple times and it feels sandpaper like when I charge it. It may be me or just since it’s new but it still works.
