Lightweight Aluminum Castle Nut

Only a third of the weight of a mil-spec steel castle nut, the Fortis Standard Castle nut offers a simple way to trim fat from your AR-15 build.  This 7076-T6 aluminum ring features standard cuts for an AR-15 multitool, and is installed the same way a regular nut is.  The smaller cuts provide the perfect recess to stake your endplate into the castle nut, preventing rotation.

This part makes saving ounces on a lightweight build simple, without sacrificing the durability overall.  The higher grade of aluminum means it will work as an excellent retainer to keep your receiver endplate and buffer tube secure.

Best nut I ever got

This thing is sweet. Very light but strong. I torqued it to 40 ft pounds with no worries. I got a few compliments to. Stop looking around and get one from AT3 now. You'll be glad you did!
