The MBT-2S addresses the accuracy limitations of standard mil-spec triggers through precision manufacturing and superior materials. S7 tool steel components eliminate the inconsistency found in cast or MIM triggers, providing repeatable pull weight and break characteristics. The two-stage design allows precise shot placement while maintaining safety, with the first stage taking up slack and the second stage providing a clean break.
Important Note: This trigger requires small pin lower receivers (.154″ pin diameter). It may not be compatible with pistol caliber carbines.

Verified buyerI told you that to tell you this. After reading about, reviewing, and seeking opinions from others, and based on my budget, I selected a LaRue MBT-2S for my firearm. I went from gritty to smooth and crisp with a predicable break. The MBT-2S comes with two trigger springs, one 6lb, one [link removed]. With the 6lb spring I had a very sharp break and positive reset with a 5lb trigger pull weight. With the [link removed] spring the break and reset were similar, maybe not has sharp, but still much improved and a trigger pull at 4lbs. The real proof showed up at the range. With the [link removed] trigger spring installed I went to the indoor range to get my LPVO close to the zero I'll need to begin fine tuning it at longer ranges. At 25 yards my three round group was one small hole (see the target below). The difference between a $35 trigger and $110 trigger is now very obvious to me, heaven forbid I ever try a $350 trigger. :D
