Braided Buffer Spring for Standard AR-15 Buffers

Armaspec’s Braided Buffer Spring (BBS) brings better long-term performance and reliability than a standard carbine spring. The BBS’s three strand design features 51 active coils, which disperse energy from the bolt carrier during cycling for a smoother shooting experience. As a side benefit, it’s also quieter than a standard piano wire spring.

Compatibility and Usage

The BBS™ works only with standard carbine length buffer tubes. It will not work with rifle or A5 length systems. Unlike other braided spring systems for the AR-15, the BBS fits with industry standard carbine buffers – no proprietary weights required. The system comes with a drop over spacer that sits on the buffer to prevent the spring from over traveling the tapered buffer body.

Warning: Do not try to “snap” the spring onto the ledge on the buffer weight like standard springs; just slide on buffer, it should sit on the top of the ledge.
