Reduce Recoil, Wear, and Unwanted Rattling

Armaspec’s Stealth Recoil Spring™ is one of the best upgrades for your AR15’s recoil system, and you can feel and hear the difference instantly.  The two-stage SRS is silent, eliminating the annoying “twang” of the stock AR15 buffer spring when the action cycles.  It also reduces recoil with the multi-spring system, resulting in a smooth, elastic feeling rather than a mechanical recoil impulse.  It’s a true innovation, all made in the USA.

  • Eliminates buffer spring rattling in the receiver extension, resulting in a cleaner sound and a smoother action

Reduced Recoil

  • The multi-stage system makes a softer recoil impulse than a standard AR15 buffer spring

  • The SRS keeps constant tension on the rear of the bolt, eliminating the need for the buffer spring retainer in new builds

Which Stealth Recoil Spring do I need?

Generally, most users can follow these guidelines when replacing their recoil system – but each firearm is different, especially when looking at non-standard cartridges.  If you need to adjust your system, we have replacement weights and bumpers available here.

Quality part at a great price

I bought this in order to remove the annoying grating sound of my buffer spring against the buffer tube in my new AR10 308 build. It definitely accomplished that goal, and at a much better price point than the JP rifle silent capture spring. I have a JP spring in my last AR15 build and I love it, but I just couldn't justify the lofty price in order to reduce the annoying noise of an otherwise functioning rifle. The Armaspec SRS was able to accomplish this at less than half the price of the JP and I really can't tell a difference in quality. I installed this on a gun with an A2 length stock so I had to purchase the A1/A2 spacer in order to function. Fit perfect in my rifle and I didn't have to remove the buffer retainer. At this price I will have to pick up more of these for any future builds. Well worth it!

Thanks for sharing your feedback, CL. We're glad you're satisfied with your purchase. Cheers!
Smooth, quiet, and cheaper...like the perfect womab

Cost is excellent. Runs perfect in 6.5 Grendel setup. Have two others in a 6.5 CM and 6.8 SPC SBR. They def take a lot of the noise out of the buffer and spring. It has smoothed out the recoil impulse, especially in the 6.8 SBR. I have over 2000 rounds in that one without any issue and paired with an adjustable gas block it almost feel like you are shooting 223 varmint rounds. Super smooth shooting. Highly recommend! Be sure to get a decent receiver extension that has been properly anodized internally and finish it off with light application of some aero shell grease. It does make a difference, especially if you shoot a lot and actually use your tools for what they are, not safe queens.

AT3 shipped extremely fast and offered it at best price! Have not had an issue with their service. Will definitely continue to purchase from here.

Thanks for sharing your feedback, K-Bob. We're glad you're satisfied with your purchase. Cheers!

I have armspec buffers in all my ar rifles absolutely love them. I’ve never had a single issue I have one with over 1500 rounds of 762x39 on it and still going strong. AT3 shipped my crazy package fast
I would highly recommend this product

Thanks for sharing your feedback, Cesar. We're glad you're satisfied with your purchase. Cheers!

It broke with about 15 rounds put through it, just happen to be shooting a 2 gun competition when it happened, looked like a real schmuck , thanks. Stuff happens though, would like it replaced, and ill give it another chance.

So sorry to hear about the issue, Steve. I sent you an email with regard to resolving the issue.
Armaspec SRS

Some machining marks on mine made it actually louder than the regular spring and buffer at first because it rubs against the tube. I used flitz and cycled it numerous times to try and smooth it a bit. Then just a tad of lithium grease. Definitely quieter now. Im sure the more it cycles the smoother it will get.

Glad to hear you resolve the issue. Steve. We appreciate your feedback.
