Mil-Spec Aeroshell 64 / 33MS Barrel Nut Grease from AT3

Aeroshell 64 (formerly 33MS) stands as the high-pressure grease trusted by the US military for attaching barrel nuts to M16 and AR-15 receivers. This lithium-based grease acts as a barrier between steel and aluminum, preventing corrosion and binding on your rifle over time. And if you’re a frequent builder, not only is this a must for your workbench, but a single 1/2 ounce jar covers multiple builds!

How to Use Aeroshell on Your Barrel Nut

One of the great things about Aeroshell, is that you don’t need to use a lot to get the benefits. Using a small amount of grease (think pea-sized), work the grease into the threads of your upper receiver. Then, thread on your barrel nut until tight. Remove and install the barrel nut a few times to work in the grease before putting on final torque. Simple!

In the event that your AT3™ product becomes unusable, we will repair or replace the product at no charge to you.

If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The warranty is fully transferable, but we may require information about the original purchase to validate the authenticity of the product.
