Haley Strategic Thorax Triple Rifle Magazine Placard

The Thorax Triple Rifle Mag Placard (TRMP) is an innovative solution for carrying multiple rifle magazines while maintaining a lightweight and slim profile. Developed through a collaboration between Haley Strategic and Onward Research (Garand Thumb), this placard has been tested and refined with direct input from the SOCOM community.

The TRMP is designed to be used as a streamlined magazine placard on the Thorax Plate Carrier or as a standalone TRMP Chest Rig (TRMP-CRX). Its compact three-magazine placard is equipped with proprietary MP2 inserts that allow for secure retention of most 5.56×45, 5.45×39, 7.62×39, and 7.62×51 rifle magazines without the need for bungies or flaps. This positive click-in magazine pouch delivers a smooth draw without impacting the ability to quickly reindex partial magazines during a tactical reload.

One of the unique features of the TRMP is the MP2 inserts are removable, which gives the operator the flexibility to place radios, laser range finders, or medical kits within the enclosed space. This design feature adds to the versatility of the product and allows for customization based on the operator’s specific needs.

In addition to the magazine placard, the TRMP includes three woven elastic pouches on the front of the placard. These pouches offer secure storage for additional magazines, tourniquets, shock tubes, charges, maps, compasses, chemlights, or other essential kit.

Overall, the TRMP offers a lightweight and versatile solution for carrying multiple rifle magazines and essential gear.
