Tool-Free, Value-Priced Polymer Backup Sight Set
Kit out your free-floated AR-15 with the next generation of Magpul Backup Sights! This kit includes both the MAG1166 front sight and the MAG1167 rear sight, in your choice of Black, Flat Dark Earth, or OD Green. This kit comes in just under a c-note, with all the features of the more expensive MBUS PRO all-steel backup sights.
*NOTE: The front sight cannot be mounted to a railed gas block due to excess heat issues. Front MBUS must be mounted to a railed forend on the same plane as the receiver rail.

The Gen 3 MBUS provides the best of both worlds when it comes to Magpul’s backup sights. Impact-resistant polymer keeps the unit lightweight, and the improved slim is comparable to the MBUS Pro. These sights fold down just under a half inch in height, and just over an inch wide at their broadest point. Plus, they retain a quick-deploy button, and a dual-width front post.

Perhaps the best feature of these sights are how easy they are to use and adjust. No more one-off tools or bullet tips required to adjust windage or elevation! Your hands are all you need, after an allen wrench or flathead screwdriver for the initial install. Plus, the new flippable rear aperture allows quick changes from narrow or wide rear apertures with just your thumb.
