The Ruger Elite 452 Trigger Kit pairs a 4.5 lb two-stage AR trigger with a reusable polymer test housing that makes the trigger functional before it ever goes into a firearm. The Elite 452 itself is a conventional AR-pattern fire control group designed for receivers using standard .154″ trigger and hammer pins, so the trigger is not limited to Ruger rifles. Its included housing serves as a standalone fixture that holds the fire control components in the proper relationship and allows you to operate, reset, and dry-fire the installed Elite 452 for trigger evaluation or manipulation practice.
Note: The polymer housing is a testing and training fixture, not part of the trigger once installed in a firearm. Ruger specifically approves the housing for dry-fire and training use with the included Elite 452. While its layout follows conventional AR fire-control geometry, Ruger does not state that the housing is universally compatible with every aftermarket AR trigger, particularly cassette-style or other nonstandard trigger designs.
