Hard Chrome HMB Bolt Carrier Group

When the M16 was first designed, the bolt carrier group received a hard chrome finish.  Chrome has unmatched lubricity for smooth function and easy cleaning, and in many ways, it’s still the best.  Young Manufacturing improves on the best with their HMB bolt, which eliminates the pass-through hole in the bolt.  The carrier also features a recoil lug under the gas key, making it even more durable as well.

Improved and Patented Bolt Design

Since the bolt has added material, it vastly reduces the chances of the most common failure in AR-15 bolts.  Basically, HMB bolts just don’t break.  Plus, the bolt also has a chrome treatment, making maintenance and cleaning simple.  Beyond the bolt and cam pin, everything else in the BCG stays the same – any mil-spec replacements you need will work in this bolt carrier group.
