The Magpul MIAD Gen 1.1 Grip Kit Type 1 was made so you can personalize the hand fit on your AR-15 rifle for the perfect grip and comfort. It is an excellent drop-in replacement for the standard AR15/M16/M4 pistol grip designed to improve weapon ergonomics during operation.

The Magpul MIAD Gen 1.1 Grip Kit has interchangeable front and rear straps, as well as a range of storage core options that allows the operator to adjust the grip for preferable hand size that works best on dynamic mission requirements.

Improved Strap Retention

This model is an update to the original MIAD that has improved strap retention and also comes standard with the newest grip core that holds an included 1/2 oz. lubrication bottle. It features an aggressive anti-slip texture for positive weapon control and handling.

The MIAD (Mission Adaptable) Gen 1.1 Grip Kit is available in two dedicated configurations to fit most receivers. It’s also compatible with all Magpul grip cores to adapt to various storage needs.

NOTES:

*This kit fits all AR15/M4’s as well as many 7.62×51 variants such as the Aero Precision M5 308, CMMG MK3, CORE Rifle Systems CORE30, HK 417/MR762A1, LWRCI REPR, Mega Arms MATEN, POF P-308, Ruger SR-762, and SIG716.
This kit will fit most all 7.62×51 AR lower receivers but there may or may not be a gap between the backstrap’s ‘beavertail’ and the receiver. This gap is purely aesthetic and will not affect function.
All mounting hardware is included.

If you ever experience an issue with a Magpul product at any time, regardless of where it was purchased, please contact us directly and we’ll do everything reasonable to help you.

To make a return, please take the following steps:

BEFORE returning any products, please contact us first to receive an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) and prominently write it on the outside of the package. Packages will not be accepted without an RMA.
Include a note with your name, shipping address, phone number and email, RMA number, and reason for the return (including, if applicable, information about the firearm, ammunition, and usage environment for defective returns). Do not send ammunition.
Wrap the item with quality padding and place it in the original packaging or in an appropriate box for shipping.
A UPS shipping label will be provided in your shipment. If using the original packaging, remove or cover the original shipping label. Tape the preprinted return shipping label to the outside of the box. Drop package at an official or authorized UPS drop-off location.
All refunds will be applied to the credit card used for the original purchase. You should allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.
