The AT3 Tactical Heavy H2 Buffer offers the performance of an H2-weight buffer without relying on tungsten weights. Its all-steel body and internal reciprocating weight system deliver the smooth cycling characteristics expected from an H2 buffer while providing a durable, cost-effective alternative.
At approximately 4.7 ounces, this buffer is slightly heavier than many traditional H2 buffers, helping to further control bolt speed and soften the recoil impulse in carbine-length AR-15 builds. Although the steel body has a slightly larger external profile than some aluminum-body buffers, it remains fully compatible with standard AR-15 carbine buffer tubes.
